The file is a scanned docunet I am in no doubt. The file info says Author: Hewlett Packard MFP. This Tells me that it is HP Multi- Function Printer. So it is a Printer/Scanner/Coppier that was used to create the PDF. You will need an OCR program to read the PDF. -- You received this message

I would try opening with preview first, see if you can get information through vo that way first. Then if not, copy the document and run it through something like Abby fine reader, then if for some reason something gets lost in converstion you still have the original. But using fine reader

Hi Stan, The only thing I can think of at the moment is that the content of the PDF may have been scanned in. Therefore, becasue the content is an image and not actual content VO will be not be able to read it. Do you have an OSCR package that can OCR PDF files? if so you could run it through
