Verified this bad behavior. Basically any change to the bitrate not made with the mouse is ignored. Keyboard only or VO navigation of the popup will not make the change. Seems like a basic bug but I wonder how they did it since popup menus should be part of the standard UI elements and whether

If you are talking about VO parameters, they are not affected by unloading and reloading as far as I know. The last settings adjusted are remembered. I find that using SnowLeopard, I can generally hit the spacebar on buttons and most of the time, that activates the available choices. Les --

I think it is a vo problem. I had this problem a few days ago, and I thought I was just messing up because I'm a new Mac user. I couldn't get the settings to stick, but my sighted husband informed me that they were reading properly, but vo was reporting them incorrectly. Mary -- You received

I am having the same problem here, nuts, I was going to rip an audio book I got for Christmas. However, I won't do it at that 160 bit rate, much to high and unnecessary. I was just playing around with this yesterday and thought, How nice, it's fully customizable, well, I thought just a little

I tried that, but then wasn't sure what the parameters had been set to and how to check the checkboxes in the popups, as I only know how to press buttons using the VO-Space keystroke. Cheers Thuy On 02/01/2010, Les Kriegler wrote: > Hi, > > If it's a VoiceOver problem, how about unloading and

Yes. I found the same problems too. I think it's only an issue with Voiceover, because when I mentioned it to a sighted friend, he told me that his settings took hold. I was able to get round it by mouse clicking with the VO-Shift-Space and clicking on each of the settings as well as the OK button,

Hi Wow, I just tried this and I'd definitely call this a bug. It's not just with 320 kbps either, but any time I try to use a custom MP3 encoder preset. I didn't notice this before because I use AAC, but I just tried setting up a custom mp3 preset and it will not do anything except 160. It's not VO
