Hi Wow, I just tried this and I'd definitely call this a bug. It's not just with 320 kbps either, but any time I try to use a custom MP3 encoder preset. I didn't notice this before because I use AAC, but I just tried setting up a custom mp3 preset and it will not do anything except 160. It's not VO misreading the new settings either, if I go back into the import settings it's set at 160 again, and it happens both with and without VBR enabled. It also won't accept any other settings, it's not just bitrate. That's a nasty one. A good cd ripper is Max from http://www.sbooth.org It's more advanced than iTunes' ripping features and I know its MP3 encoder correctly handles your bitrate settings as well as any other options you set.
