HI;
In my case, my brand new computer came with a bunch of top sites on it already,

the like. What a mess that was. I'm definitely hanging onto this info.
Thanks Esther.

You can keep the top sites bar from showing up by de-selecting this

Another handy bit is that any bookmarks you store in the bookmarks bar
can be fired up just by hitting command-# where the number is the order
which the bookmark is in the bar list. So my most commonly used sites
are in the bookmark bar slots 1-5. To get to the first item at any time

Hi Robert,
I think that you can move bookmarks and/or folders with copy and
paste, or even cut and paste. As far as I can tell, the top sites
acts as though it's a folder location within the bookmarks bar, and I
can copy and paste folders from my bookmarks bar into the regular

Hi,
I have been storing my bookmarks under top sites. This is the default when you
elect to set a bookmark. I have learned to use the top sites system but if I
wanted to move these bookmarks from top sites to the regular bookmarks table,
could I do this using VoiceOver?
Thanks,

Hello Amber,
I'll try to add my answers to Scott's regarding the use of bookmarks
in Safari. Top Sites is a feature that was introduced in Safari 4.
Instead of being sites that you choose to bookmark, these are the

Amber,
First the Top sites is a fancy name for the most recently visited sites. The
more sites you visit, the more likely they will fall off the list. Second to
access a bookmark, I interact with the url in the table and use VO-shift-m to
bring up the contextual menu. THen you can select the ac
