I was successful updating pages by going into software updates from the apple

Hello Daniel,
You could try contacting Apple to get a code to download the new version of the

Thanks very much. This is working rather nicely. I do have one problem
where at times I can't edit text where I should be able to, but using the
VO-Shift-Space command seems to fix that. Just out of curiosity, has anyone
else had that same experience? Why does it happen?
Thanks for the help.

Hello Gigi,
There was quite a discussion about handling tables in Pages back in January.
Barry Hadder came up with this solution and I've since used it to edit tables
in Word documents that I've had for translation.
You have to highlight one table in the document for all the tables to show up

In Pages, you can read tables if you go to the Inspector and, using the Wrap

Go with iwork, microsoft office on the mac is not accessible, you could also
try open office, which is free. Iwork is able to open and save Microsoft Office
files, but if you need to use office natively, consider installing windows on
your mac.

Hello. I am very curious to try the 30-day trial of Iworks on the Mac.
When going to the Apple site where the download is located, the actual
download seems to be inside of an empty frame, at least this is what
Voiceover reports.
In other words, there is what sounds like a frame for the

Unfortunately, this is a situation where the vo-shft-m doesn't work.
