you may not have burned the data correctly.
how did you burn the DVD?
burning a DMG file means opening the DMG file, launching disk utility,
selecting the INSTALLESD dmg file and instructing it to burn to DVD. this
creates a bootable DVD.
when all's finished, quit disk utility, eject the DVD,
i did and after the dvd finished chiming i pressed command f5 to start
voiceover but no luck. all i get on screen is the apple logo.
any thought?

I believe someone has possibly covered that situation. I have lion on a DVD and
it does what I need it to do but I'm not running lion on my own workstation for
stability purposes.

Hi,
Could it be that installation simply resumed without noticing it? What does it

I bought Lion through the Mac App store. It said it was

When I tried reinstalling Lion, it wouldn't start. What could I

Hi!
The how to is missing from the subject line, but this is my question,
how to install Lion from a usb flash drive?
I know when burning a bootable dvd one should use the install.esd.dmg
in disk utility and it becomes bootable but how to do same procedure
from a flash drive?
Thanks.
