Do that only if you are selecting multiple items that are not in order. Use
shift to highlight the items if they are in order. Don’t use noncontiguous
selection for just one item to delete.

Another good reason to learn to go to the menu bar for shortcuts you

Command-backspace sends items to the trash that you have selected. You can
hold down the shift key and arrow down or up to select items that are
contiguous. If not. Press VO-command-enter on each item and then press the
command-backspace to delete them.

I do something similar to hiding apps: I use full screen on each one. I don't
have those Mail message verbosity problems. Of course, it's possible to create
an activity for an app and change the verbosity within that activity. I have it
ses to high for some applications and low for others.

I only hear the "One row added" when I'm actually in Mail. However, I always
hide the apps I'm not currently using, so this could explain why I'm never

I have my verbosity set to the lowest as i get frustrated with all info all of
the time.

you don't even need to go into the dock to access your documents folder. From
the finder, press command option L. But you can get the downloads folder back
on the dock by pressing command shift H and when on the downloads folder press
command shift T.

with the list, interact with one of your download groups, and then VO/space on

Hi Donna,
DMG stands for Disk Image. When you download one, press command-O to
open it. Then if there's an application in it (it has an APP
extension) copy that file to the Apps folder. Then focus on the disk
image and eject it with Command-E.

from the desktop and delete it from your downloads folder if it is there
without having installed the application to the Mac. Remember that
applications are only installed to the Mac when they are copied to the
Applications folder.
