Hello;  One thing you might want to check in in your safari  
preferences section to see how you have your computer set to handle  
downloads.  You may have it set to open files automatically on  
completion of download.  Here, you can also change the default folder  
for downloads.  One other thing is for me personally i find it far  
easier to handle file manipulation problems by changing to column mode  
in the finder.  Otherwise I'll have it on icons, but when moving files  
around columns seams much quicker.  Hope that helps, Max
