And Ray,
I must say it does seem more possible for sighted people to look down on us
blind people than it is for us blind people to look down on each other,
I tried looking down on myself but couldn't see anything.

Hell, that's crazy,
I'm blind and don't have all the answers,
But I'm not going to sit on my ass and watch the world go by without trying to
take part in it.

Yes Alex and Donna,
I fully agree,
I have to work with windows server based environments including powershell
So using windows is the only way to do this with out getting major issues.
PS doesn’t seem to work through terminal connections

O
I have sighted work colleagues coming to me to ask how to do things on both
phones tablets and computers and that includes our Mac support speciallists
But then I also have clients that question how I work if I can’t see a screen
or a keyboard.
I’ve started telling people that I use osmosus

Ray I do not disagree with you BUT. If its too hot in the kitchen
for you, get out. We ARE here to assist one another, not to cut them
down. We may all have things in common, bit we are all different. So
when one of those whiny blind folk bother to ask for help, they came to
the right place.
Just being truthful blast it. I am getting sick and tired of whiny blind
people complaining we can’t do this or that when, if they would just bother to
properly inform themselves, they would see otherwise. Is it any wonder that
the sighted look down on us so much?

We recently had a bunch of kids come over to the house for my daughter's
birthday party. And being teenagers, they didn't come alone. They brought
two things:
1. Something in their pocket: An iPhone.
Perhaps its some blind people who don't have all the answers and go
to those who are there to offer tech support. Why blame them for being
helpful? Why waste your time being so critical? It serves no purpose.

Since we're all chiming in, here's my two cents.
I use macOS and iOS at home, iOS more often since I can use it at work, too.
For work, I use Windows 10 with NVDA. Both have their strengths; Windows can be
better at web browsing for some applications, macOS is more stable and simpler

I have to use Windows 10 at work, and I absolutely hate it. Just my $.02.

If I'm in a place where I'm worried about that, I just lock the phone. The
advantage is that if I'm just at home or someplace where I'm not worried, I
don't have to lock.

Simon is correct. I too set up my iPhone X with no sighted assistance what so

trying to make us blind people think that a blind person cannot set up an

I must agree. I would rather text in most cases. I mean there are some
