Yeah you can. Go into the more options menu beside the search for stations
field and under more options you will see the different outputs and volume
controls for headphones and other output types. Interact with whatever slider
you want to change and you can do it that way. Hope that helps.

Hello.
Thank you everyone for responding to my questions. I have some more.
If one wants to clean the cells on the display, is there something you have to
lift to get at lifting the cells up to clean? I am no expert on alcohol as I've

Hi Erik,
OK, I've had a couple of glasses of wine, so apologies in advance if I'm being
dense.
I'm currently working with an Alva, and want to change the behavior of some of
the panning keys when using it with an i-device. Is this possible?

you can make your own reverse panning you know?
Just go into the braille hotkeys and switch the two panning buttons and their
functions. if you need to switch between standard and reverse panning, it's a
bit clunky, but you could save the configuration files one for standard and one

Hi,
I understand from another message that you have already began reformatting and
reinstalling your HD so this may be moot. When in Recovery mode, did you
attempt to Quit the Recovery app? When you do this, it should ask you to pick
a Startup Disk. If your Startup Disk is fine, it will show
Actually, if you go into VO utility with VO-f8, then go to the Braille section,
select the layout tab. Press the assign commands button, and there you will be
able to reverse panning. I reversed it long ago, and really like it, although
occasionally I've considered changing it again, since the i
I was wondering if there was a solitare game for the mac as well, considering
the fact that I've become adicted to the Spider solitare game that came with

Hi William.
When I last checked out Bootcamp, I noticed an entry in the Bootcamp

So try that.

Hello,
Are there some tricks to set osx as boot disc for the next time from inside
win7?
I have win7 installed with bootcamp and osx 10.8.
On windows I can use nvda or window eyes8.
With the option bootdisc in osx, I can easily setup the bootcamp partition to
load after reboot. But, when I want
I use it too both with windows and Mac and am very happy with it on the Mac.
The only thing I wish voice over had was reverse panning but then again, I'm
probably fussy.

Hello Jessica,
I'm no expert on Mac's but I've played around with GNU Linux a lot. I
don't understand what you mean that the DVD doesn't work. Can you boot
from the DVD drive? Or is your DVD disk damaged and the machine can't
read it. If you have the option of booting from a USB or DVD drive.

Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone had seen any accessibility improvements in the
update. I know it was really concentrating on BootCamp. Just curious!
Thanks, J. p.

Hello,
I've been using the Focus 14 blue for a few Months now. This is my 1st braille

I like the way the keys are laid out. Dots 7-1 on the left, dots 4-8 on the
right. They are set is in a fan shape, very comfortable to type on. The

Can you be more specific in terms of what feedback you're actually getting from

I use the Focus 40 Blue, and I'm quite satisfied with it.
Every Braille display and notetaker I've had I've cleaned myself, using an

Hello,
I have some questions about nvalt 2.1.
It's interesting for me since you can very easily write notes and find them
back and, you can make a link in files to other files you have made with nvalt.
It seems very accessible and there are a lot off hotkeys but , voiceover is
doing strange.
