just to point out, the fix might not be coming in a Voiceover but, maybe a
Safari update in the future. Just a guess of course. In the mean time, I
just press VO command L which lands me on the first link of the page. You can

the blind came to Dallas this past summer, I went to exhibits. I have a focus
40, and I was thinking about replacing it with a Blue

What do you mean, turn the mouse off? You use vo-shift-space to
simulate a click, and that's it. The mouse pointer is always there on
the mac, even if you never use it, so you don't need to worry about it
once you click.

Yes, I have noticed this and have reported it to Apple.
On my system, focus is lost, rarely.
Try exit and then restarting VoiceOver while the Mail application is in
focus and see if that helps.

In standard view, you up and down arrow through all your messages. You
right arrow to expand a conversation, then just up and down arrow
(down to start as you are at the top of the conversation) through the
list of messages in that conversation. Left arrow closes it and you
can keep going through t
