today i installed the 1.5.1 on another PC. OS on this PC is XP SP2 and with
actual acrobat reader 8.1 .
Lyx is working fine there and there is now problem with pdf-preview.

Of course ther is a possible solution.
Every Time you change the layout you see the shortcut in the status bar on the
bottom. you can use this one to change your layout.

Today i installed the lyx basic installer from lyx ftp site and the problem is
solved there. Furthermore there are some graphical issues which gives lyx a
better look and feel under vista.

Im a newbie to the Lyx.I had heard about
Latex previously but hadnt been able to use one of
that kind software before.I liked lyx and its mode of
working.I decided to make my undergraduate project
report in the same..But i faced a problem..

How does one install scripts in OS X for LyX? I wanted to use the
envelope script. All the wiki says is to "install" it into /usr/local/
bin and then make it executable. How does one do this? This is
different from moving the file to this location, no?

I run the configure.py.
Miktex seems to work and also the path settings seem to be ok. I can run
'tex' from every directory from the command window.
I also tried to use another directory with c -userdir ...
Same bad result.
Any ideas?

I've just installed sgmltools v1 (LinuxDoc) as a RedHat package. When I
reconfigured LyX, it found the converter sgml2lyx OK, but it didn't find
linuxdoc-sgml.sty.
Scanning the list archive, I find the solution: make a symlink from the
TeX tree to /usr/lib/sgmltools. However, this is a kludge, as

gesetzt auf A4. Lässt sich eine solche Tabelle
unter Lyx auch anders erstellen, ohne das die
Übersicht verloren geht ? Hat jemand Erfahrungen
damit ?
