My document compiles fine within LyX, but export to LaTeX is not
working (lyx-2.3.3).
Specifically,
export / latex (lualatex)

! Missing $ in
ce exporting directory. I have a lot of
materials in my thesis and after export to LaTeX everything was mixed up...
Till now I am not sure what is source and what is produced by LyX during
export.

I had included .jpg in the lyx document and would like to export to plain
latex document. Besides I got what I want as .tex, I also have to confirm
exporting to several .eps files (I guess automatically generated from .jpg

I try your hints, and this is the outcome:
A) your hints about deleting the date works perfectly.
B) your hints about {} works: also on my keyboard AltGr+7 and AltGr+0 .
before I tried to use Alt+123 and Alt+125, but such command did not work
with LyX.
