I've some problems with RCS.
I start using RCS with the "Register"-command. And the first version of
my file is registered, no error messages appear and the file is now
write-protected.
But the problem is, that all the other buttons stay inactive. I can't

I presume you're using RCS... then you'll need a backup of
the rcs-file to restore the version you've deleted.
