Hi,
Has anyone noticed that when using memoir class in 1.4.1 (I understood from a

part of the log below)?
I am running 1.4.1 on a stock slackware 10.2 system with tetex 3.0.

Hi,
We use a lot of branches in modular end user manuals for our equipment. Does
anyone have an approach on dealing with "not branches"? E.g., the piece of text
applies to every piece of equipment, except for no. 32. As you can imagine it
is a bit tedious to repeat the same text in the other 31

Enrico,
Sorry about the previous message. Below is the script as I copy-pasted
it. The prog=latex.exe part was on the previous line (thus commented)
and at first not recognized by me to be part of the script.
I tried the corrected script but still it doesn't work. I get an error

Paul,
I have had a similar error on a mandrake 2005 system, though with
ps2pdf. It turned out to be a problem with graphics and the ghostscript
version. After I installed mandrake rpm ghostscript-8.15-16mdk.i586.rpm
instead of 8.15-22 the problem was gone.
Hope this gives you some pointers,

Hi,
Short question, is it possible to put a branch definition in a .layout
file?
met vriendelijke groet / kind regards,
Maarten Sanders
Nicolas,
My question earlier today is somewhat similar, so for the two arguments I have
no answer yet. You can find layout examples in /usr/share/lyx/layouts (or
somewhere close). Other examples are at:
www.troubleshooters.com/linux/lyx/index.htm
www.mail-archive.com/lyx-users@lists.lyx.org/msg
Hi,
Is it possible to create a Lyx Style which accepts multiple arguments?
E.g. for,
\newcommand{\onetwo}[2]{This #1 and this is #2}
I can not find any examples.

Hi,
I am trying to get an idea on how to work with lyxserver.
My idea is to have one master document with many child docs where the
master doc sets all branches. Ideally we would also have one master file
and a "config utility" that sets the branches in the state we want them.
I have a .lyxpipe.
Hi,
Is anyone aware of any samples of lyx and a customized titlepage? E.g. a
full page image with text printed over it.
met vriendelijke groet / kind regards,
Maarten Sanders

I am struggling again with a possible bug.

Does anyone know the keyboard shortcuts to `Un`branch a block of text in

I am just playing a bit with lyx1.4pre2. some observations:

Hi,
Is it possible to catch this ERT:
\Mynewcommand{\myoption}
In a layout style so that in Lyx it displays as:
\myoption
in a normal text style (e.g. bold and slanted)? (or even better without
slash)
Thanks,

Hi,
I have following issue (I guess it is also (pdf)latex related, but give
it a try here anyway).

Hi,
I have a multipart (input) document in which I try to use a "wrap:

float it shows in both ways. The figure is a png.
