SHIFT-COMMAND-/ to access the Help Menu, a blue / even though I have
disabled the shortcut specialchar-insert-slash.

I rather think that an information during installation should be
displayed to inform the user how to proceed. Use right mouse button
click open once, and it works afterwards as expected. Not worth the 100$
per year, in my opinion.

These are just ideas from my side, but to try to incorporate pandoc
into LyX in the same way as LaTeX is Incorporated, would make LyX even
