x, the system dir is still /usr/local/share/lyx (not my
prefix!).
I copied lyx2lyx there. I also copied the missing unicode symbols to my
.lyx. Now things work.
I think there's something wrong with the makefile and these files, at least
when specifying a prefix...

I notice that when I do a search-replace, at the end I'm at the beginning of
the doc.
advanced search and replace should leave you where you were after finishing,
Otherwise it breaks the writting flow.

I started using side notes, fantastic feature. While they look good on the
screen, the get cut because most printers cannot print when getting close to
the borders of the paper.

Using ui-toggle fullscreen in xmonad does not return to non-full-screen

The tab completion doesn't work either. that is, I see the list of

I also think it could be qt related. I've spent the afternoon switching from
lxde, gnome, and kde envs and trying different wm. It seems that it's mostly

Everybody I know describes LyX as lighting fast. And it has the most useful
outliner I know (and getting better). It'd be a pity we cannot have both

btw, to those jabref users eyeing zotero for the fast ref capture who would
not use it because you had to export to bib first... the new FF addon LyZ
makes this on the fly. It's a killer feature, two clicks and you are done.
And your lib is on the cloud for free...

Hi,
I'm full-time linux, but put lytex (portable lyx) on a win laptop. I tried
to use the excellent LyZ (zotero binding) but didn't seem to find lyxpipe.
Is there any known problem with lytex and lyxpipe?
