I'm creating a presentation in Lyx using the Prosper package and Dekel
Tsur's layout file. Most of this is working perfectly, except for one
strange problem. In the resulting pdf file, some pages are rotated 90
degrees (displayed portrait instead of landscape), which is obviously
not very useful f
I'm finalizing a document in lyx and added some more figures when I suddenly got the
error:
TeX capacity exceeded.
But I'm not quite clear on why. I just added a new eps figure, granted, it's not the
smallest one around, but there are already about 40 similar figures in there. When
trying a few t

I'm having a small problem with lyx. I'm using a bibtex generated
bibliography and I'm trying to get it in the Contents. But using
\addcontentsline{toc}{chapter}{Bibliography}
doesn't work because putting it before the bibtex label makes it
reference a page before the bibliography and putting i

This is probably very easy when you know how. I'm working on a
SunOS/Solaris machine and I installed LyX in my personal space. Now I
want to add some Latex packages which need to go in my home directory as
well. However, I can't seem to find how to get Latex to search for
additional packages in an

I've been looking through the lists but there are a couple of things
that I haven't been able to find a satisfactory answer for. I hope I
don't want too much :-)
I have a small issue with brackets in equations, when I put an
expression between brackets it sizes the symbol in such a way that it's
me best. There are certain things I want to try
and incorporate in a document layout, but before I start asking question
on how to do certain things, I think it's best to get the basics first.
Thank you loads for helping me out.
