This is probably very easy when you know how. I'm working on a SunOS/Solaris machine and I installed LyX in my personal space. Now I want to add some Latex packages which need to go in my home directory as well. However, I can't seem to find how to get Latex to search for additional packages in another place than the standard texmf directory. It's a standard teTeX distribution. Does anybody know how to do this?
An addition to the a question I asked before. The Sun machine has a compose key to create several accented characters. This works fine in all programs except for LyX. I switched the Dead-key option, but that had no effect. Is there a solution to get the compose key to work in LyX as well? Edwin
