Hi LyXers,
I am finding the Branches function to be incredibly useful for adding
notes and questions to shared documents. I would like to know if there
is a way to have specific formats applied to certain branches when
exporting to PDF. In particular, I would like to have the text
highlighted, but

Hi Stefano,
sure I'm using the biblatex module; that's the only way to get it working in
lyx.
I also use the natbib=true options and still get that wrong output.
When I hover over a citation in the text it says "no bibliography defined" and
when click on it I get the citation dialogue box but I ca
Roey,
have you tried using the biblatex module for LyX? That module allows
you to use different natbib-like biblatex commands to change the
format of your citation.
I normally use biblatex's authoryear style (with the natbib option)
and change the appearance of the citation depending on its contex
Thanks Ignacio
I will do it but I partially solve the problem by unfloating the

floating table and I have an additional issue which is common: have a
table description personalized for each page adding the word

OK, that works!! It was the floating table which doesn't behave as I
want, but now I have a new issue with this: in the floating table I was
able to produce the table description with a label to reference (for
example as table 1), how do I do this now?? And more how can I produce a

Vielen Dank Jürgen! That totally did the trick.
lyx now processes everything correctly with biber.
Still my problem is the output.
no matter what style I choose, the citation in text always includes the names
outside brackets. So using style=authortitle I get

Dear LyX users and developers,
LyX has a problem with Windows users that have their home directory on a UNC
path. http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/Troubleshooting mentions these problems for Lyx
1.5 already. (Recent versions do start, but have no classes available.)
I have been struggling with this for

On the Web, I've read that people who were getting that error had an
outdated biblatex version installed. Please try to update biblatex to
the most recent versio
Hello lyxers!
I'm not quite new to lyx but I'm still considering myself as newbie, may
anyone tell me how can I set up a long table which occupy more than one
page, so it has (the same) headings on every page? I'm refusing to
create more than one table guessing where it start a new page.

Hi
The settings for longtables is disabled when I try to access them...
After reading http://wiki.lyx.org/Layouts/Modules
I place the the longtables module in ~/.lyx, reconfigured my tools in Lyx
and restarted it.
The module has unfortunately not appeared in the documents-> settings and
longtables
Thanks for the tip, Scott.
I managed to get the lyx 2.0.3 working but I'm still getting that error
Package keyval Error: hash undefined.
Also, after I revert back to bibtex8 (by changing to backend=bibtex8 in the
preamble and changing to Bibliography generator bibtex8 in Document setting) lyx
