Hi,
With the first release of lyx on Windows I build a home-cooked fully
contained lyx + miktex distribution in a single zip-file. Moving from a
desktop to laptop was as easy as extracting this zip-file.
Why can't it be that easy with the new Lyx bundle at

I am using LyX 1.5 (beta3) on Windows XP.
When compiling the DVI of a paper with some integrals, I received an error
because of the lack of the esint.sty.
Then, I have installed the package but in the DVI the integral is
substituted by a capital delta (\Delta).
Any suggestion?
Thanks

It would help. Otherwise, they can get lost if no-one has time to work
on this right at the moment.

I noticed that there is an export option for LyX to
OOo Writer.
I gave it a try and Lyx seemed to do something but I
don't see any output file. Am I missing something
here?
I tried a TeX export on the same document and it
seemed to work fine.
Thanks

If you can figure out exactly when this happens, then we'll have a
chance to debug it. I see this problem, too, but it's so intermittent,
there's no way to get at it.

Hi
How can spreadsheet data be copying into LyX quickly?
I can't get Open Office or Gnumeric to do this easily.
Surely there must be a better way than one cell at a time?

I just wanted to pass this on in case noone knew. Mediawiki, the

that just might be of some use in LyX. This program AFAICT includes a

Even more, I added "auto" in all of them, tried them and an error is
presented saying that the auto viewer failed loading the PDF at the
