Dear All,
Is there is any .sty or macro available to get a running head as like
Dictionaries.
ie. Displaying top most A-head at the Left page (Verso) and bottom most
A-head to Right page (Recto). Assuming that many A-heads are in all pages.

Hi,
Is there a way to double space footnotes? Right now my text is all double
spaced but my footnotes are single spaced. I have tried setting the
\doublespacing option in both the Latex preamble and in the footnote without
success.

If you haven't done so already, I would suggest to update TeX using
the i-Installer (just in case, see http://wiki.lyx.org/Mac/
Walkthrough#toc17 if you don't know how). Then give a "sudo
texhash" (authenticated by your admin password) from the Terminal
followed by a LyX reconfigure.
You can

Jürgen,
thanks for the hints! I decided to use the pdfpages package, but the success so

Hi!
I know what the problem is, because I also experienced it.
The problem is that the layout you try to use is for a older version of
LyX. When you load it in LyX 1.4.2, the layout2layout script is run in
order to convert it to the format of LyX 1.4.2. The resulting layout is

What are the enabled repositories in yum configuration?
We have several computers running lyx in FC-4 with no problem, both
installing and updating.

Dear LyX users,
I have a problem which is killing me all the time. I have turned on the
MathPreview because otherwise LyX becomes very slow if there is more mathematics
in my document. That solved the problem, although the document takes longer to
load. But that's not the problem. When I undo (for
