Hello,
I'd like to have a small separation between paragraphs in my curriculum vitae
that can be found in

see the PDF here:

See in work experience how there's too much space between each of the
paragraphs (inside each

Thanks for both the suggestions. It appears my problem is slightly more

makes the whole hting centered.
Any more ideas?

Spotlight, of course, is the new search engine Apple provides with OS

Only if they disassemble it. One advantage of PDF is that it is view-only
for most folks. Therefore, what they see is what you intend.

Not here in the USA. However, if you export it as a PDF file then every
printer can accept it as camera-ready copy. Some publ

Hi.
How do I make LyX 1.4.6 for Windows XP display mathsymbols? \sum is
transformed into "P" in LyX but it looks alright in the ps/pdf files.
Thanks
Gunnar.
Clearly nothing wrong with spellcheck just my stupidity in assigning quote

While two open single quotes are needed - ie `` - the use of " is valid for
closing quotes. I foolishly thought that the same must apply and was using two
closing quotes - ie ' ' without the space.

Hi
When using the spell checker with words in quotation marks it always flags up
the last word as incorrectly spelt
e.g. Here is a "good sentence" with quotes.
it will flag up <>
Is this a bug or just the fact that, possibly rightly, it doesn't like the use
of quotes in standard text.

these things strikes me when working with lyx and the beamer class and

1) it would be really nice if there was an image preview when selecting
graphics to insert.
2) graphics do not always load when opening a lyx file -> images just say

Thanks for your help.
Copying / pasting the two lines from Herbert's message did the trick.
