Hi list,
I think this is an easy one for you: How do you properly configure margins
in LyX?
I know my question sounds silly, but I'm having a hard time using together
Custom Margins + FancyHeaders + Footnotes.
Here's my situation:

That's a workaround, but what happens if you resize the eps
in the LyX doc ?
If you need to interpolate again at further size changes, pdflatex
is a better solution IMHO (and tex2pdf works out hyperref args for
you).

Well, a lot of us, I think. If spam - even spam without worms & viruses -
is getting spread by the list server, it's far more likely to get read by
people who see "Lyx" in the title, and so think it's good stuff.

I'm in the process of building 1.3.2 now, but in the meantime I'm using

I'm using Jurabib and endnote.sty for a book. Is there a way to get
multiple references into a citation, each with a page number or other

Also, is there a way to put something other than the page numbers as
"text after" with Jurabib?
Thanks,

No, I think I got one as well.

Just curiosity: am I the only one who received this mail? According to
the mail header it was addressed to the list, otherwise i wouldn't have

That looks like the sobig.f worm. Don't double-click on the attachment,
if you are reading the email on a Windows machine.
The worm comes in an attached ".pif" or ".scr" or ".exe" file of about 99K
bytes.

Hi Katrin,
Looks like sobig-f, this new virus/worm trying to spread via e-mail. See e.g.

A way to improve the appearance of bitmap .eps files is to load them
into PhotoShop 6 or later and save them out with ``Imag

hi list,
no lyx-related question this time. i'm just wondering about a mail i
got today and another one by the same sender. Since it doesn't make
much sense to me, i'm wondering whether this mail is truely related to
lyx/ latex or whether this is simply spam.

Hi List,
I need some help or hint in this topic: I wish to place a figure ( or Table
perhaps ) wrapping text around, BUT at the top of page. Floataflt package
locate the frame begining the paragraph.
For reference, MSWord 'pin' the frame with the paragraph, but locate the frame
absolutely in

AFAIR, tex2pdf config file allows to set makeindex optional parameters.
Useful only if you want pdf output, of course...
that's right, but you always get an error message,
because LyX runs the hardcoded makeindex, when
detecting an Insert->Index.
