thanks
I also had to \usepackage{setspace} in the preamble.
But, still, it did not remove the blank line between each
bibtex entry in the Reference section.

Hi
I need to change the spacing between the entries produced
by BibTeX ... (I get double spacing that I don't want,
while in the text I have simple spacing)
I tried the following (just before the "BibTeX Generated References"
box in my LyX file), but to no avail :

A further note on using the new lyx-1.2.0 prerelease with
Sparc-Solaris-8. After much experimentation, with help from John

implementation in xforms-0.89.6 is broken for Solaris. The workaround
is to compile lyx-1.2.0pre4 with xforms-0.88.1, which

So the question is. Having a sty package how can I add support in Lyx for
it to create a new template ?

Hi again,
I am trying to install a new pdfscreen package under LaTeX. What I did
was:
1. Get the software from CTAN or original source
2. Untar under one directory the pdfscreen-1.5.tar.gz
3. Create a directory under
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/ called pdfscreen and copy there pdfscreen.sty

Hello,
I'm in the process of writing a massive document (about 96 pages so
far - it might not sound a lot to you, but trust me, it's a killer ;-).
Unfortunately, my copy of Lyx doesn't want to save any more. I can
understand that it's bored of seeing the same document all the time, but

thanks guys. I am looking already how to create my slides. Your comments
are really cool.
I don't want to ask something to start a controverse but from your
experience what Linux
distribution is better from LaTeX point of view: more TeX packages
installed by default etc. Some ideas ?

Hi,
I am writing a revtex4 paper with LyX, and everthing works fine as long
as I do not specify the endfloats option. When I do this I get numerous
errors concerning missingg }'s, captions that are outside a figure
environment. The problem seems to be have something to do with the \par

I encounter some strange problem with 1.1.6.
After having enetered some stuff including some floats (example file can
be made available) i want to cut out a word from the text and bang the X
crashes under SuSE-Linux 7.1
When I tried to reload the emergency file with lyx -> another X crash.
