Hi again,

I am trying to install a new pdfscreen package under LaTeX. What I did
was:

1. Get the software from CTAN or original source
2. Untar under one directory the pdfscreen-1.5.tar.gz
3. Create a directory under
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/ called pdfscreen and copy there pdfscreen.sty

4. Run texhash as root
5. How to create .layout file for Lyx ? Under my home directory I ave
nothing .
ls -lrt layouts/
total 0

Do I need to create a .lyx file under /usr/share/lyx/templates/ where I
have lots of lyx template files ?

slides.lyx
revtex.lyx
revtex4.lyx
linuxdoctemplate.lyx
letter.lyx
latex8.lyx
kluwer.lyx
iletter.lyx
IEEEtran.lyx
hollywood.lyx
g-brief-en.lyx
g-brief-de.lyx
docbook_template.lyx
dinbrief.lyx
aastex.lyx
aa.lyx
