I'm in the process of writing a massive document (about 96 pages so far - it might not sound a lot to you, but trust me, it's a killer ;-). Unfortunately, my copy of Lyx doesn't want to save any more. I can understand that it's bored of seeing the same document all the time, but I need to make it understand how important it is. Basically, when it opens it tells me the file has truncated (and has lost about a page or so), so then, when I add anything and try to save it, Lyx crashes. I'm working on Lyx through X-Darwin, if this gives anyone any ideas... Hope you can help, because I do love Lyx, we're just going through a bit of a troubled patch at the moment. Cheers! Tom Payne
