Hey,
Ive had a few problems with viewing a preview of any documents ive done in
klyx, sometimes when I do file -> Preview -> view DVI, it comes up with an
alert message saying "there were errors during the LaTex run. One error
detected. You should try to fix it."
I have no idea what the problem i

Hi!
I have an eps as floatflt . The figure is higher than the text beside
it. Problem is that after the text ends a new subsubsection begins. The
title of the section is set to the right of the figure and the text is
right over the figure.

Hi there LyX fans.
I have 4 tables in my doc, inside table floats. If I put the
tables before the captions, I get tables numbered 1, 3, 5, 7.
If I put them afterward, I get 2, 4, 6, 8. But the actual
numbering I really want is 1, 2, 3, 4 (call me fussy or
something). What's going on here?

Please don't!
The page is *much* better readable without background images!

I like the look. The only thing I'm missing is underlined links. It
just makes it a lot harder to find links when the eye is used to the
conventional style of displaying them.

Hi, I've created a document using the REPORT headings style.
Now I would like to insert a logo (xxx.eps) at the top (on the left),
how can I do this?

Good morning!
How can I change the package options of url.sty?
I tried to insert \usepackage[T1,hyphens]{url} in the preamble, but I
get an error message ["Options clash"] because LyX automatically loads
url.sty without these options (if I insert an url-inset).
Thanks,
Jürgen

lyx uses latex2html and in the normal view html it passes the argument -no_subdirs to
latex2html so if you export your lyx file
Hello,
I want to write the documentation of a in house application, and be able
to produce PDF, Html and print copies. Our documentation will include a
lot of color snapshots.
A solution would have been to use MS Word. But I'm not pleased with the
html produced; and I can't do version control on

Hello,
I'm new to Lyx... I try to make it work to avoid using MSWord for our
documentation.
I've a document created with lyx 1.1.16 on linux, using the template
"book (koma-script)" (maybe a bad idea ?)
When I open it on Windows (I've installed Lyx 1.1.16fix2b yesterday,
with Cygwin, MikTex 2.1)

Done. Should be visible soon. In the meantime you can check for last
minute stuff ups at:

as this is what will be on www.lyx.org in about 15-20 minutes.
