Hello,
I'm brand new to the LyX community. I'm trying to submit a paper to the
Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmospheres (JGR). They have provided a
some style files, e.g. agums.sty, for LaTeX. I would like to
incorporate those into a layout file. Has anyone already done this?
I understand

Today I was using lyx, having much fun preparing a lecture on multiple
regression. In case you want to see, I've put the lyx file and the 2
eps files on my page at this site:
http://lark.cc.ukans.edu/~pauljohn/ps707/multReg1/
The file is multRegNotes1.lyx and there are 2 (beautiful!) 3d eps

I'm having a slight problem with the labelling of a chapter in my thesis.
I have a chapter which I do not want to exist as a numbered chapter, so I
have used the chapter* environment to generate it. However, the second
page of the chapter, still carries the title of the previous chapter. I
have i

But I can't get it work !!!

hello * !
I have problems with hyphenation in german. I've tried dehypht.tex and
dehyphn.tex - it's always the same thing. For example, the word
"Schnittebene" ist hyphenated like this : "Schnit-tebene". That's nonsense.
It should be : "Schnitt-ebene".
I tried to disable hyphenation at all, b
Hi,
I've DL'd 1.1.16fix1 and compiled/installed it into /usr/local to stay ahead
of the older 1.1.15 package already installed by .deb oackage. One of the
major things I need to accomplish in my work is a custom export using a
script which before ran perfectly well under 1.1.15. However it seem
