Just a ( hopefully ) tiny problem.
I wish to export ascii text from a multi-file document - to interface with
the evil empire - but when I use the export sub-menu all I get in the resulting
text file is a series of include lines, viz:-

Installed lyx1.1.4pre1 yesterday.
As usual i tried to browse the helpfiles (=still need to read them)
however, it is not possible to browse the read only files with the
find & replace menu option
On files where one has "rw" permissions this is no problem. The find &
replace works just fine.

Can anybody tell me, if it is possible to insert two tables side by side
both within and outside a float environment? I (outside a float environment)
tried to define a multicolumn environment but this always leads into an
environment mismatch. I think multicolumns will only work with normal text,
