I am in the process of compiling it and will commit it if it works well.

Attached is a patch to remove the isDviClean entirely from LyX.
isDviClean was used to guard against generating the latex file and
relatexing it in the cases when no change was done to the buffer. This
however removed a good feature that made a relatexing when a file that we
depend on has changed
Hello,
Just want to report a minor (?) bug in the latest release of LyX (version
1.1.5, 2000.06.06). If you have a document with no labels, typing ALT-R
followed by the down arrow key gives a seg-fault.
I have downloaded lyx-1.1.5.tar.gz, ungzipped, untarred, configures,
and made the system. T

What is the umask setting for user root?

There are still bugs in selection handling (when the cursor is in
between two spaces before selecting)

OK, some questions:
- did you run configure several times before getting this error?
- do you have "." explicitely in your path?
- does the problem vanish if you delete lib/reLyX/reLyX

Hi there,
I just downloaded lyx 1.1.5.

Could not reproduce it, but while testing the new release

I was unable to reproduce yet);

I was surprised at the size of the binary on a PowerPC (11MB),
but even more surprised when I did "strip /usr/bin/lyx" -- the
resulting binary is only 1.6MB!
So I suspect if you strip your binary, you will have plenty of
