Hi there,
a friend of mine reported that, trying to download
LyX-2.0.0-2-Installer-Bundle.exe
he's got a message like "Virus Download Blocked", probably from a
company-wide antivirus system.
I'm just wondering about the possibility that the executable might
actually be infected.

Hi everybody,
please see the subject. The problem is caused by ...\Temp\nsb10.tmp\ns11.tmp .
Sophos says it is Virus/Spyware Mal/Generic-A.
There hasn't been a problem with the 1.5.5-1 installer.

Hi,
I have right now installed Lyx 1.5.1-1 on two Windows machines. During
unpacking, Sophos Antivirus gave twice alarm. The warning was:
..\\Local\Temp\nsys371A.tmp\nsExec.dll belongs to Troj/Zlob-ADU.
I guess this has to do with other problems than LyX, but just to make
sure ...
Cheers
I implemented a virus protection on the list server. If you think you see a
false positive (message that is bounced, though no virus is in it), then
inform me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Do _not_ include the bounced message---but you can put it on the web
somewhere.

Dear All,
I am very sorry to bring some trouble today.
This morning my PC is infected by a virus LIFE_STAGE.TXT.SHS. Then the virus
got all the lists and email addresses from my Address Book and sent many
virus mails to you using my email address. Now I got two tools to remove the
virus. Please
