Sure it does. I have FC3 here and I've just fired up LyX 1.3.x and created
a formula a+b^2. Perfect. Trying LyX 1.4.x... yup,
Just wanted to report that under FC3, LyX isn't able to use dead keys
like ' ` ^ and the like. Also in math, ^ doesn't produce a superscript.
