Many thanks to all for your work on Lyx/Mac. I will try the new installer. In the meantime I may have tracked down the font problem (at least mine anyways)... The links in LyX.app/Contents/Resources/lyx/xfonts were pointing to locations that did not exist in my tetex installation. Not sure how
