i noticed two bugs in lyx:
if i open a bigger lyx-document like a help topic (eg. introduction or
customization) and i want to scroll a little bit faster, lyx is mostly crashing.

I have been working on improving error handling in my personal tree of
lyx-1.1.6fix3... I have already written code which addresses some of
these problems, but I have not contributed the patches. Some of the code
required a large amount of infrastructure, and as such would not be

This is already fixed in lyx 1.2.0

Hi guys,
Thanks to everybody who contributed to LyX! In particular, the ongoing
efforts to crank out -fix versions of LyX 1.1.6 are well appreciated.
However, in browsing the changes lists I cannot help to feel that many
bugs that got fixed are highly special, while a number of the most

Hi there,
I use lyx 1.1.5fix2. A few things are what I would call bugs.
I don't know wether these are really bugs, but more suggestions. But I post
them here anyway.

Actually, I'd rather have it out much sooner than that, maybe next
week. We currently have fixes for many important problems.

Jules, just a reminder that me and others are trying to keep the lyx bug

Hello,
I'm one of the developers of LyX and I dropped by the bug tracking
system of Debian. This is being cc'ed to the lyx-devel mailing
list for additional comments. Following are some remarks on said bugs.
First thing, there is already a version 1.1.6.
The bugs can be found at the page: http:

Hi,
First: thanks for your work for the linux community.
I installed lyx 1.1.4pre2 so to beta-test it, I think I found a bug (or two) in
bibtex files management.
What I did:
1) loaded text.lyx (attached)
2) Insert -> Citation reference
There are no keys in the "key" popdown!
3) I typed by hand

Two bugs found:
1. Math mode
I can change the positions of start and end index for sum and integral with
M-m l but this doesn't work for "lim". So I wrote "lim\limits",
ie. after the "lim" I entered LaTeX command "\limits" and this made the
trick.
However, when saving and loading again the file
