Hi all:
It would be possible an icon in the lyx interface from which you can
activate JabRef or Mendeley ... check the cite, and close it and not do
it from JabRef through lyxpipe?

Hello everyone (and my apologies for the mistakes of English).
I come here with an idea about the placement of flotants figure.
The idea is to force placement of flot not in a position (here at any price),
but between two label. Ideally these label would be based on titles, but if not,

If the only goal is to edit R code externally, it is already possible
with knitr: http://yihui.name/knitr/demo/externalization/
And a general solution of sending program code to the terminal might
be more useful.

One idea about literate programming in LyX has been in my mind for a

Hi Darlington,
Equation cross-referencing is basic to LyX but there is a procedure
to going about this.
1. Use Insert->Math->Numbered Formula or Ctrl+Alt+N to create a numbered
formula. This should start an equation on a new line and should show a
(#) sign.
2. Position the cursor within th

I have recently started using Lyx and I must say it is a good word processing
package. It has made my work easier than the traditional Latex version. However
I feel there is one area that should be changed without delay.

Hi,
An idea came to my mind so I feel compelled to share :)
Wouldn't it be nifty to hack the wiki enough to allow it to work on lyx files?
That way we could have wiki-ed lyx user's manual -- I don't think there are
any projects out there that allow online updating of the man

I mentioned yesterday that we can now open all the dialogs from the
command line, but that subsequently pressing 'Apply' has no effect
for InsetCollabsable-derived insets.
Ie, 'dialog-show-new-inset minipage' works but 'Apply' doesn't result
in a minipage inset being inserted.

The latest CVS versions still have problems with rendering postscript.
More often than not, I get the image box with the name of the image
and the "[rendering...]" showing up and staying there forever.
Does anyone have any clues as to why this happens? Is it a timing problem?
This just popped into my head this mroning; i don't recall it coming up
before.
Frequently, multi-lined equations are continuations of single lines,
and the line number needs to be shut off for several. Currently, we
need to turn it off for each line we don't want labeled.
