What isn't working? Exactly? Can you preview DVI? If so, then the LaTeX
file is being generated.
Oh, simpler (yes, I can generate PDFs, DVIs, etc):
File -> Export
has only a
File -> Export -> Custom
If I select LaTeX there, it only has
Guys,
have you disabled the latex export in RC1?
Please let me know how to export a LyX file to Latex.

For me it does. Place the cursor in the first of #columns empty cells
and press 'Delete'. To clear a row, select it, dir 'Delete' to get empty
cell, press 'Delete' a second time to remove the row.
But isn't that exactly what you could say about unnatural?
To delete an empty row while being in th

Remember, it should NOT be LyX goal to kill SWP as it is needed both as
competition benchmark and in order to make ppl outside academia/OSF
environments aware of the WYSWIM concept.
Right now, they also still have some big advantages, e.g., entering equations is
still much easier/more natural and
A while back, you guys mentioned an integrated title and toolbar for
the Mac version of LyX. The screenshots were looking very sweet. But I
have never seen this toolbar on any
svn version. Will it get into Lyx at some point?
It would give LyX on Mac another eye candy ;)
Thanks,

I have not followed the previous discussions but I have a font
problem with the newest beta - no greek characters, some
characters remain as names, etc.
Is this just my problem? Or more common?
Or is there even a fixed version?
Thanks,

Will that make it into 1.5? It looks so gorgeous :)

Note, however, that sticking too closely to the TeX rules gives fairly
dense formulas which are more difficult to navigate,
I believe that SWP is very close to TeX here. If you need more
screenshots than the ones which I have provided, let me know!

Dear Lyx-Developers,
I am *really* impressed ... or maybe even stunned.
The update from 1.4 to 1.5 is really a major
step for LyXkind. On a Mac, it feels every bit as
professional as a Mac App can be (wow).
The SWP guys at MacKitchan must be really scared
as hell. Congrats guys! You are doing a h

What LyX mainly needs is some *polishing* so that users stay with it
after trying it. Math editing which beats SWP or MathType would
be a very important step.

Ronald, Bennet,
I did a vanilla reinstallation of Lyx (removed everything ans
installed everything) - and still have the error with the greek
letters. However, the output is like Ron's with just a slight
difference, it always has the lines:
The font has size: 15

Hi there!
I am still switching forth and back between scientific workplace

undesirable state, but I am still missing many things in LyX which my

I am wondering about the most essential question in life:
When will the next LyX version be released?
Is there a target date, or anything you tell me to hope

I have a wired error with Preview Latex (posted on bugzilla):
Previewlatex works fine for newly entered equations, but ignores
all math after a reaload. In Debug mode, I realize that it only
attempts to compile the first equation and no more.
Does anybody have a clue?
Thanks,

FEATURE REQUEST:
It would be awesome to have red underlining below incorrectly spelled
words in LyX. Is there any chance of that happening in the near future?
