What feature exactly do you think of?
For example: I write a long equation and now I want to add a line.
In LyX, I need to press Apple + Enter on a Mac while SWP just requires
Enter. While it is something ppl learn fast, it still feels weird after having
done it many times. However, if I press Apple + Enter too many times,
I only know how to remove the extra lines using the *table* toolbar as the
keyboard combination is not natural enough to figure out without a handbook.
Why doesn't delete and backspace solve that?
The same thing holds true about tables.
These might appear small things, but many ppl I know
who use LyX complain about these. Many of them never used SWP
before, some say Mathtype would be better.
I know a person who uses Word & Mathttype, saves as RTF,
then converts it to Latex, imports it into Lyx, does the fine touch,
then sends it to journals. His reasoning? "Lyx is great for fine-tuning, but
equations and tables are too difficult to handle".
Since 1.5.0, I am always advocating LyX :) over SWP as it now
competes in terms of toolbars and looks (*), but natural usability is still
an issue which needs to be addressed.
Keep up the progess momentum, guys, its really awesome.
Thanks,

(*) And runs on Macs ... I even bought an IntelMac asap as I wanted to
have SWP running faster - but since 1.5.0 I see much less need.
