Bizarely, the fix of moving the fonts does not help this time. I have no idea why...I did it just like before, and the fonts should not have changed anyway, should they? After using 1.3.5cvs for 2hrs, I can't imagine going back to 1.3.4 :) The most amazing thing about the speedup is that you can measure a difference in power consumption of my powerbook (I know how geeky that sounds ... but I always monitor it, and it is down 40%).
