Dear developers,
I have a feature request (Bug?).
The Bibtex generated references are sorted alphabetically.
This is not always convenient. For instance when working with tkbibtex one can
use a file strings.bib which contains abbreviations.
This file should be read BEFORE the other bibtex files.
Dear developers,
I was looking at http://www.lyx.org/help/index/indexstyle.php
on how to customize the index style.
The solutions there seem to be a little complicated.
I guess Lyx just calls makeindex. Wouldn't it be possible to just let lyx
send extra command-line options to makeindex?
For i
te keys---while reading file test.aux
Database file #1: test.bib
I was expecting a `,' or a `}'---line 1 of file test.bib
: @book{a
: b,
I'm skipping whatever remains of this entry
(There were 3 error messages)
Hope it helps,
Bas Spitters

I'll have to check this. You mean that \cite{a b} does not work?
That's what I meant, but when I try this simple example it does work.
Let me first try to find out what went wrong exactly.
(Which of course I should have done before, sorry)
Please forget it for now.

Thanks for your answers.

plain before I restart it.
Spaces in citations are not handled well by Latex.
Maybe it is better not to allow spaces in Lyx too.
I would like to have a Save Options possibility to the Options menu.
Thanks,
Bas Spitters
Here is another small bug report:
Revision date 1999/01/25

LaTeX2e <1997/12/01> patch level 2
The LaTeX file which gives and describes the problems is attached.
