Hi Josh,
I think the three options to export images/CSS cover all use cases we
can think of right now. If the code handles these three cases, then any
modification later on will be simple; so I think we don't need to worry
about possible other options.

Can this go to trunk (after the 2.1 release if there is risk)?

Hi Scott,
Yep. I did realize that might be a complicated issue after check the code

Hi everyone,
I'm coming up against two design decisions, and I thought I'd ask the list
to see what others think about them.
First, I'm in the process of implementing an option to save the CSS and
image files generated during XHTML export to separate styles/ and images/
subdirectories. Currently,

If it's not committed to the sources I can put it into wiki.

I've filed the ticket (8781) and also a fix. Right now I can't post it to
the wiki (500 error when I try to hit the upload login page). I'll
temporarily host it at

I see, so when writer2latex converts í into \'i it should be reported as a bug?

hey,
we just open sourced Fidus Writer ( http://www.fiduswriter.com ) under the
AGPL license. It's basically a replacement of Lyx, just that it's web based
(if Lyx is MsWord, Fidus Writer is Google Docs). It trades some feature
support for usability. And it has some very practical native features:

I don't see the slightest reason for that.

impatient. But I cannot blame you for t

This problem is only in texted, right? I suppose tex2lyx should read \dots as
\ldots in texted (they are equivalent outside amsmath). In unicodesymbols, the
use of \ldots (instead of \dots) seems correct to me,
Un general one does not put accents on i, but on dotless i.
