hey, we just open sourced Fidus Writer ( http://www.fiduswriter.com ) under the AGPL license. It's basically a replacement of Lyx, just that it's web based (if Lyx is MsWord, Fidus Writer is Google Docs). It trades some feature support for usability. And it has some very practical native features:
