The item is automatically added if you insert a new paragraph in a
Bibliography environment

Is there a reason, you can't insert a bibitem from the menu ? Otherwise
I'll add it.
Richard, if I insert a bibitem (with the patch), I always get the
message that the label already exists and that the label will be
renamed. Could you have a look at this ?
