Could someone else try forwarding this email to Matej. All mine are being
refused because some intervening mailer thinks I'm trying to exploit a bug

have you ever tried to compile/run lyx on SGI platform ?
Why the menu File -> Import -> Latex is shaded in my lyx ?
I was able to compile 1.0.4 on my Indigo 2 with IRIX 6.5.

I have downloaded lyx-1.1.5fix1 (as a SRPM) and I have found that
the thing, which I always considered to be bug is still there.
Fortunately, my old hack which fixes it still works. Attached to this e-
mail you shall find patch as well changed .spec file.
