Hi,
I have just compiled, patched... recompiled lyx-1.1.4 (fix 3).
I have a linux box running a heavily upgraded RH 5.2. (not really
RH anymore ;-) I get the following core dump:
LyX: Creating directory /home/caleb/.lyx/ and running configure...
sh: `-c' requires an argument
lyx: SIGSEGV signa
Attached to this message are the (modified) lyx_main.C, lyx_main.h,
and lyx.man . The originials were lyx-1.1.5pre3 . I hope this is what you
meant.

I discoverted a strange behaviour in Lyx 1.1.4. If one selects two sides in Layout

There is a bug with the insert reference stuff, the dialog one and not the
main menu.
The problem seems to come from the fact that the buttons in the insert
reference are active even when there is no label to enter. Pressing one of
them say "Insert reference" will cause a core dump. Possible solu

OK, after some discussion, Ulrich Günther came up with a reproducible
way to have incorrect highlighting. After some testing, I can provide
an even easier version:

Go to the s of This. Type a blank.
Do Shift-Left to select backwards.

Does what happen? I report core dumps from standard paragraphs here as well as
from lyx-code ones. I also report "strange" behaviour that does not result in a
core dump for both standard and lyx-code paragraphs.
