Hi,

I have just compiled, patched... recompiled lyx-1.1.4 (fix 3).
I have a linux box running a heavily upgraded RH 5.2. (not really
RH anymore ;-) I get the following core dump:

LyX: Creating directory /home/caleb/.lyx/ and running configure...
sh: `-c' requires an argument

lyx: SIGSEGV signal caught
Sorry, you have found a bug in LyX. If possible, please read 'Known bugs'
under the Help menu and then send us a full bug report. Thanks!
Bye.
Aborted (core dumped)

I have read the known bugs - and it does not have this one...
Question: What is being refered to on line starting with "sh: `-c'"
Second this happens whenever lyx tries to change directories. The on
screen message/alert is:

Error: Could not change to directory:
         /home/caleb/.lyx
            Sucess

This seems to happen with execution of any external programs -
Changeing to the temp directory?

Any ideas how to fix or where to start...

Cheers
   Caleb.
