Handy script, clips all figures (which, especially in the case of imported MS
Word graphics, tend to extend large white areas over neighbouring text). This
just replaces \includegraphics by \includegraphics* througout your .tex file.
Use it until LyX learns to support \includegraphics* :-)

May 1997, where I announced:
"I have also changed barracuda a bit to allow communication with LyX.
Barracuda is a very nice BibTeX browser made with Qt (see the contest
directory at the Qt ftp site). I'll send the pa

That's a nice feature to have.
I think the preamble should be an inset, like Allan suggested. But if it is
empty, it's not visible! If it contains somethi

Yes, we will implement the new kernel and drop it into the existing code base,
so the XForms skin will probably stay for starters.

Hi,
is there already any consencus about which toolkits will be used for the
userinterface? I know someone offered to do Gtk, but this does not seem to
be a cross-platform toolkit. Is the question still open about which toolkit
(which contains Windows support) to use?

to specify a file containing a preamble you want to import?
That's more desirable than having to manually write out the preamble, or
the import statement, in Layout->LaTeX Preamble.
In fact, if you specify the one, perha
