I bought (90 shekels) an Intel based (MD563X chip) winmodem
(and it is working on Mandrake 8.1 . The drivers can be
found on Intel support web page (for kernels 2.2.x and 2.4.x), or on
linmodems.org site.

I'm trying to organize a Linux group in Bar-Ilan University.
My main goal is to create something similar to the installation parties in
the Technion and the lectures given by the Haifa Linux Club.
I've already talked with some of the Math & Computer department members and
