Hi all
I have two problems (Mandrake 6 on P166, installed on secondary IDE H.D.)

That's funny. Are $offtopic_OS users so hostile indeed? :) Or this is a
virtue of Certified Microsoft Professional (that sounds good: "In what
area are you professional?" - "In Microsoft!") only? Did Goog

Maybe there aren't one? As I heard, most army systems are not connected to
Internet, and have no official means to do it (i.e., you can sneak some
modem inside, but hide it well) and, knowing the measure of the
professionalism and s

Have you ls it as root before you claim it does not exists ?
Since you do not have any problems at all as root, it is my guess that your
problem is about permissions. Try the PPP-HOWTO for more details.

Hi,
trying to use my PPP as a regular user I get the following error :
Jul 16 17:15:53 localhost pppd[1287]: Can't open options file
/etc/ppp/options: No such file or directory
It's true that this file doesn't exist but it's the first time I
encounter it and as root I have no problems at all.
