Hello
I'm trying to use the eps backend (also by lilypond-book) and it doesn't
work. I get the following error
Please Help! I'm very frustrated.
you have to use -dinclude-eps-fonts, otherwise GS will try to load fonts
on its own, which usually fails

OOoLilyPond will have problem deleting or overwriting these files.
You should use mkstemp or similar to make sure that the /tmp file names
are unique and unpredictable. Otherwise, you can take control of a local
user account by installing suitable symlinks in /tmp/

\rightHandFinger #0 ... #11.
0 and greater than 5 appear as "x".
Is there a way to tweak the way it displays the fingerings?

Yes, it seems to work great for all my initial tests so far. Han-Wen is very
fast. I have already made a word processor document that references several
EPS clips from the original score. Now I only have one score to maintain
and one document to maintain, and
nt paper variables influence
each other. For example, the default for line-width depends on the paper
size, so what should happen when you do
-dpaper-size="a4" -dline-width="16.\cm"
and what if
-dline-width="16.\cm" -dpaper-size="a4"

atever the default
paper currently is, but I dont know how to set it from those values.
this is possible in CVS by doing
\paper {
right-margin = #(* 5 cm)
left-margin = #(* 5 cm)
#(set-paper-size "a4")
}

Thanks, so line-width will take whatever is left over after the margins are
set and the paper size established?

change it.
I'm too busy to fix this, but you could add a property.
See beam.cc, where it says
Real notehead_width =
Stem::duration_log (segs[j].stem_) == 1
? 1.98
: 1.32; // URG.

/var/cache/fontconfig is an empty
folder, should there be something in it?
Unfortunately, I deleted 2.8.5 before I discovered the error so I cannot
compare with the older version of the app.
Any advice? Or should I just ignore this error...
just ignore it.
