Hello all,
I know that slur coding is difficult, and on the to do list…
In the meantime, does anyone have any automated hacks/engraver/code that
simplifies the tweaking currently required? In particular, manually \shape-ing
the after-line-break bits is quite tedious.
Thanks,
Kieren.

I can't seem to get the vertical spacing settings

\version "2.19.25"
\header {
title = "title"
}
\paper {
markup-system-spacing = 20
}
\score {
\repeat unfold 200 { c''1*4/4 }
}

Kieren,
If such an ideal hack existed, any ideas on what it might look like in use?
What's frustrating with the current one (i.e., \shape)?
Best,
Abraham

I found another way to do what I was trying to do. (I used \applyContext in a
music function to access and then modify a custom staff context property, and
then used a custom StaffSymbol engraver to access that context property and
change the grob properties of any new StaffSymbol grob accordin

To begin with, a helpful after-line-breaking callback would automatically start
the slur at the correct horizontal position, if not at the correct v
